FOX PHILLIP CARROLFrom: Osiyo Don,
I would like to add my cousin to the list of Indian veterans on the wall. He is on panel 11 east lilne 70, his namd is Phillip C. Fox he was killed in 1966, a Navy corpsman he died while saving a marine whom I recently had the priveledge of talking with on the phone. He is of Eastern Cherokee heritage, but we can only tie our heritage to the Western Band of which I have applied for membership. Phill was of at least 1/4 blood quantum and more than a cousin. We were like brother and sister, and he is why I also enlisted in the Navy during Vietnam. If it is possible to add him to the list of Native American Veterans on the wall, I would greatly appreciate it.
